VIDEO: 49ers’ NaVorro Bowman activated to 53-man roster


The 21-day window has officially closed on the San Francisco 49ers and their All-Pro ILB NaVorro Bowman  but not with a surprise as Bowman will be activated to the 53-man roster. Bowman, who was recovering from a torn MCL/ACL injuries was officially activated. To make room on the roster the team placed TE Vance McDonald on season-ending IR.

However, don’t expect Bowman to be in the starting lineup just yet as FS Eric Reid said today that they will probably ease him back into the rotation. “I know that they may want to ease him into this being that it’s been a while and it’s fresh off his injury. I’m sure they’re going to ease him into it.”
