Frank Gore wants to come back to 49ers but says, “It’s not up to me.”

We’ve seen this all too well. From San Francisco 49ers QB Joe Montana to WR Jerry Rice, no player is off limits when it comes to getting rid of players who are past their prime and RB Frank Gore is no different.

Originally a third-round pick (No. 65) in the 2005 NFL Draft, Gore has since been the heart and soul of the 49ers offense. Whether playing on a losing team or a Super Bowl contender, Gore continues to be the rock that many Forever Faithful have now labeled a future Hall of Famer. Not only is Gore the 49ers all-time leading rusher but he is also now an unrestricted free-agent.

Will Gore return to San Francisco for his 11th season? That question was asked by many Forever Faithful today as he signed autographs at Valley Fair’s Shoe Palace.

“Come back next year, we need you,” one fan said. “We love you Gore. Please come back, you’re the heart and soul of the franchise,” another faithful told Gore. What was Gore’s response?

While Gore said to contact the 49ers, why don’t you as Forever Faithful leave your comments below on why he should stay. This way your voice will be heard one way or the other. Heck, call them too.
