Today, San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh spoke with the 49ers beat writers in regards to wrapping up their two-game road trip while also talking about his star rookie third-round pick ILB Chris Borland. A player that continues to make play-after-play, Harbaugh had high praise for his savvy, young, football player.
Just an hour before Harbaugh’s press conference, I talked about Borland’s “knack” for the football as I tweeted:
There’s always that one kid on your football team that just has a “knack” for the football. Borland is “that guy” for #49ers.

Harbaugh then echoed that same assessment in his presser today as he said:
However, with Borland getting his fair share of snaps, I wanted to ask about 49ers starting NT Glenn Dorsey and if he’ll be able to play this season as the 21-day window comes to a close. I asked Harbaugh, “What’s the status on NT Glenn Dorsey, is he going to remain on IR or are you guys going to activate him?” And Harbaugh said:
With the 49ers activating Dorsey, the team placed NT Ian Williams on IR.
