49ers’ Aldon Smith Selling San Jose Home For Around $3 Million

It looks like San Francisco 49ers OLB Aldon Smith will be house hunting in 2015 as the premier pass-rusher is selling his San Jose home for $2.988 million.

Smith purchased the home in 2012 for $1.75 million and has the listing agent as Jacklyn Friedland of McGuire Real Estate.

The 6,400 square foot home is a six bedroom, five bathroom house which includes a private movie theater, wet bar, outdoor pool/spa, play area, outdoor kitchen and fireplace.

What does this all mean?

There is no guarantee that Aldon wants to come back to San Francisco after next season which is why I wrote an article on the 49ers possibly trading up for Florida DE/OLB Dante Fowler Jr. And if that’s the case, the 49ers would be wise to draft a replacement as the best pass-rushers currently on the team are Smith and OLB Aaron Lynch.
