After San Francisco 49ers OLB Aldon Smith was booked on charges after his LAX incident he wasn’t in jail for long, as he posted $20,000 bail. Former 49ers’ great S Ronnie Lott said he was worried about Smith as an individual and believes the 49ers have the right people in place to help him but it will ultimately come down to Aldon.

Below is a video of Aldon’s release as he leaves the police station. What this means for his future remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, the 49ers are not taking this lightly and despite him being a premier pass-rusher in the NFL it’s his off-field issues that may ultimately be his downfall.
