VIDEO: Mike Singletary disciplines Vernon Davis after Seahawks Game

We all remember former San Francisco 49ers head coach Mike Singletary’s infamous speech as he ordered TE Vernon Davis to hit the showers early. A hot headed player who had no regard for his actions, Singletary had to set an example as the team was in total chaos at that time. Davis, who was the 49ers go-to deep threat, committed a foolish personal foul penalty nullifying the big gain he just had. Singletary then became irate and the rest was history. After the game Davis spoke about his antics as he said, “I don’t think I did anything wrong. If the coach thinks I did something wrong, I have to listen to him. He’s the boss…I didn’t know what was going on. I already know about Coach Singletary. He wants to win, and he’s a hard-working guy. He won’t tolerate anything.”
