VIDEO: Amari Cooper Meets With 49ers WR coach Ronald Curry and Scout Bob Morris

Well here is some strong evidence that the San Francisco 49ers are extremely high on Alabama WR Amari Cooper as 49ers WR coach Ronald Curry and Regional Scout Bob Morris were on hand for his pro-day.

Earlier, there was a report that the 49ers will try and trade up for Cooper’s services and it appears on the surface that they may indeed go in that direction. However, the question remains what will it take to move up to get him?

They will definitely need to leap frog the Oakland Raiders or at the very least trade with them. If they strike a deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars and move up to No. 3 they will likely need to part ways with all of their picks — basically selling the farm as the No. 3 draft pick value holds 2,200 points.

Another scenario could be trading disgruntled OLB Ahmad Brooks as part of the deal as the 49ers already have a younger, cheaper, viable replacement in OLB Aaron Lynch.

With the 49ers continuing to scout players it will be interesting to see if Cooper comes in for a pre-draft visit as they seem to be heavily invested in the Alabama product.
