VIDEO: 49ers Players Upset Over Vernon Davis’ Comments


Some of the players inside the San Francisco 49ers locker room are upset after watching former teammate TE Vernon Davis take shots at the organization. Davis who said the team was in ‘turmoil’ while saying “Look at them now. They’ve only won two games,” has rubbed many of his former teammates the wrong way.

“I saw that man. I didn’t like it at all. He was two and six with us,” said one 49ers player. Davis who went on to say that the team was descending — was reported to had been in a heated argument with LT Joe Staley in a player’s only meeting that may have had a negative impact on the team which eventually led to his departure.

“His comments shocked me to be honest with you,” another 49ers player said, who asked to remain anonymous. “It’s disappointing to see a team captain say that about you.”
