When the San Francisco 49ers drafted WR Jerry Rice in the first-round (No. 16) of the 1985 NFL Draft, no one really knew how good he would be. A small-school product out of Mississippi Valley State, Rice quickly gained then head coach Bill Walsh’s attention as he stumbled upon his game film while in a hotel room. It would turn out to be the match made in heaven as Rice finished his career as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time). Re-live his many game-changing catches and long touchdowns here on NinerFans.com.
