According to NFL Network’s Ian Rappoport, the University of Michigan has a lucrative offer on the table for San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh!

A contract that is reported to be six-years worth up to $48 million, it will be interesting to see how Harbaugh turns down that kind of deal from his alma-mater.

The contract would be the richest of any current college football coach as Alabama’s Nick Sabean currently garners those bragging rights with a $7.3 million per year salary.

With the 49ers missing the playoffs for the first time under the Harbaugh regime, this contract offer may be too good to pass up.
