SJPD: 49ers’ DE Ray McDonald ‘suspect’ in alleged sexual assault

The San Jose Police Department have secured a search warrant for San Francisco 49ers DE Ray McDonald for alleged sexual assault.

Per Matt Maiocco:

On Tuesday at approximately 10:43 a.m., SJPD received a call from an area hospital regarding a possible sexual assault victim who was receiving treatment, according to SJPD.

“Officers responded and made contact with the adult female victim,” SJPD reported in a statement “The victim alleged she was possibly sexually assaulted a day prior. The preliminary investigation revealed the alleged suspect was Ray McDonald.”

Las month, the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office decided it did not have enough evidence to prosecute McDonald in a domestic violence case involving his pregnant fiance despite McDonald’s fiance making a 911 call on August 31 to report domestic violence, she later refused to cooperate after her initial police interview.
