Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman was on a conference call with us today and touched on a variety of topics. From the Seahawks struggles this year to why he hasn’t had an interception in nine games, Sherman
Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area asked Sherman why the Seahawks have been struggling this year while boasting a losing record. “Because we lost more games than we won,” Sherman quickly replied. Maiocco then responded by asking Sherman why he thinks the Seahawks have five losses and Sherman gave an obvious reply, “Because we didn’t score more points than the other team.”
Sherman was then asked about the switch from QB Colin Kaepernick to QB Blaine Gabbert and said “football’s a crazy game,” while referencing Alex Smith.
It’s whose playing well at the time at the end of the day. Who would’ve thought when they were playing well and QB Alex Smith was out there that, a year later Alex Smith would be gone from San Francisco and Colin Kaepernick would be their guy…you just got to roll with the punches.”
