According to ESPNs Chris Mortensen, the Chicago Bears have reached an agreement with former San Francisco 49ers DE Ray McDonald.

The eight-year veteran will now be reunited with DC Vic Fangio after being cut by the 49ers back in December. The Bears who are transitioning to a 3-4 defense get a very good defensive end as McDonald has been a stout player–setting the edge.

In 8 seasons, McDonald has recorded 210 tackles, 19.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles.
