Report: 49ers’ To Fire Jim Tomsula Immediately Following St. Louis Rams Game

The San Francisco 49ers are going in another direction in less than 24 hours, as they decided to cut ties with HC Jim Tomsula according to Pro Football Talk. The hand picked successor to the great Jim Harbaugh, Tomsula’s odd personnel decision-making combined with a losing season is what ultimately did him in.

According to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, only four coaches have lasted one or fewer seasons: Red Strader (1955), Monte Clark (1976), Ken Meyer (1977) and Pete McCulley (1978).

However, I’m hearing that Tomsula is not the only one out in San Francisco as OC Geep Chryst among others will follow.

We will keep you updated on the latest as it unfolds.
