Report: 49ers Glenn Dorsey Has Torn ACL, To Miss Remainder of Season

According to numerous reports, San Francisco 49ers DE Glenn Dorsey suffered a torn ACL in yesterday’s 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. An injury that occurred on the game’s first play from scrimmage, it appears that Dorsey will now miss the remainder of the 2015 season.

Dorsey is no stranger to being injury-prone in San Francisco, as he missed the entire 2014 season due to a torn biceps injury.

In 26 regular-season games for the 49ers, Dorsey has recorded 59 tackles and 2.0 sacks. With Dorsey out for the remainder of the season, it will now be up to first-round pick (No. 17) DE Arik Armstead to get his chance to shine.
