Report: 49ers’ Aldon Smith suspension could be reduced according to Pro Football Talk

According to an earlier report by Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, he said that San Francisco 49ers OLB Aldon Smith could return a game or two earlier. Smith who is suspended for the first nine games of the NFL season has already served seven of those nine games.


Fellow beat writers including Sacramento Bee’s Matt Barrows and San Jose Mercury News Cam Inman said that GM Trent Baalke is unaware of this report as they sent out the following tweets:
