Police Report: Woman had gun at Ray McDonald’s house in May

The San Jose Police Department released details of an unrelated incident that occurred four months prior to San Francisco 49ers DE Ray McDonald’s arrest for suspicion of domestic violence.

The incident occurred on May 25, 2014 at approximately 8:09 p.m. when an argument broke out prompting the female to bust out a firearm. According to the report a “female subject became upset, grabbed a firearm (handgun) registered to the male subject, and held it at her side.

When the Male decided to call 911, the woman fled the scene without incident. The report says the woman “did not make any threats or point the firearm at the male subject.” Consequently no arrests or criminal charges were filed. However, numerous sources have stated that the engaged couple in the incident were McDonald and his fiancee in the backyard of their San Jose Bentley Ridge Drive home.

With the 49ers continuing to get heat from outside forces, they remain firm in their beliefs as they let due process continue to take it’s course.
