And just like that he’s gone, as former San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has agreed to become the new man in charge at Michigan.

Harbaugh who was offered to become the highest-paid coach in college football history with a six-year deal worth $49 million back on Dec. 16, felt it was too good to pass up.

Harbaugh played at Michigan and many felt that he would want to remain in the NFL, but how can you turn down an offer like that? Especially from your alma-mater? With Harbaugh officially off to Michigan, the 49ers coaching search now begins as they will have to apply the Rooney rule (interviewing minorities) when finding their replacement.
