Former San Francisco 49ers CB Carlos Rogers strikes deal with Raiders

The San Francisco 49ers opted not to re-sign their two starting cornerbacks this off-season in CB Tarell Brown and CB Carlos Rogers. A move that I believe was a smart one as they wanted more money than their value would suggest, GM Trent Baalke decided to let them test free-agency. Brown who earlier inked a one-year deal with the Oakland Raiders will now have his sidekick since 2011, as Rogers also struck a deal with the dark side.

A position that is extremely thin with the uncertain future of CB Chris Culliver, it will be interesting to see which cornerback the 49ers will draft as they are projected to select at least two in the first three-rounds.
