Fullback Michael Robinson who began his career with the 49ers and just won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks, is now branching out into day-time television.
A long-time fan of watching day-time soaps, Robinson will appear on the CBS’ “Young and Restless” on March 13 at noon PST.
Robinson was invited on the set, when he it was learned on NFL network’s “Total Access” that he was a huge fan of the show.
“It was an amazing experience! I’ve been a fan for years, and it was great to meet the personalities on the show,” Robinson said. “I’ve always thought Y&R was the best show on daytime television because their story lines are always entertaining and intriguing. They welcomed me with open arms, and I felt like a part of the Y&R family.”
Robinson will officially become a member of the family, when he appears with Emmy award-winning actor Eric Braeden, who plays tycoon Victor Newman on the show.
Robinson has always been interested in television, and started a web site, “The Real Robinson Report,” in which he conducts player interviews.
