ESPN Keyshawn Johnson tells 49ers’ Ahmad Brooks: “You don’t quit on your team.”

When you talk about a diva wide-receiver you can almost certainly associate the name WR Keyshawn Johnson. A three-time Pro Bowl talent throughout his career, Johnson was as out-spoken as they come. Who can forget the book, “Just Give Me the Damn Ball.”

But even Johnson admits he would never walk out on his teammates leaving them on the battlefield like San Francisco 49ers OLB Ahmad Brooks did yesterday as Keyshawn said tonight, “You don’t quit on your team.”

Did Brooks quit on his team? Others questioned why 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh would allow Brooks to play this Sunday including Harbaugh’s former coach and now ESPN analyst¬†Mike Ditka,¬†as he said that would not be tolerated if he were in charge.

And while Brooks’ vows to be a different player this week as Harbaugh had a talk with him to clear the air, it remains to be seen how his teammates will view him moving forward.
