Deion Sanders Rips 49ers’ GM Trent Baalke Using Joe Montana And Steve Young Reference

Deion Sanders is no stranger to controversy. Last year he made some bold statements saying that many of the San Francisco 49ers players wanted Jim Harbaugh out as the team’s head coach.

“They want him out. They’re not on the same page. I really want to know if they’re really playing for the head coach. I got a question with that. Are you really down with your head coach, San Francisco 49ers? Because the way it looks and what I’m hearing, you’re really not down for your head coach. And that’s a problem.”

Sanders, took some serious heat for those comments but as it turned out there was some truth to those comments as half of the players liked him while the other half did not.

Now, Sanders is making waves once again as he’s blaming 49ers CEO Jed York and GM Trent Baalke for the team’s downfall.

In fact, Sanders is now taking it to the next level, saying that both the owner and general manager should be forced to play one game at quarterback behind the team’s shaky offensive line. A line that is horrible along the right side, Sanders insists that even the best would have a difficult time finding success as QB Joe Montana and QB Steve Young would both struggle.
