Breaking Report: Police serve search warrant at 49ers’ DE Ray McDonald’s home

According to ABC 7 News the police have served a search warrant at San Francisco 49ers DE Ray McDonald’s home in San Jose to investigate rape allegations.

Per Matt Maiocco:

On Tuesday at approximately 10:43 a.m., SJPD received a call from an area hospital regarding a possible sexual assault victim who was receiving treatment, according to SJPD.

“Officers responded and made contact with the adult female victim,” SJPD reported in a statement “The victim alleged she was possibly sexually assaulted a day prior. The preliminary investigation revealed the alleged suspect was Ray McDonald.”

Back on August 31, San Francisco 49ers DE Ray McDonald was arrested for alleged domestic abuse. The incident reportedly took place in San Jose, California at his house on Bentley Ridge Dr. at around 2:45 am as he along with other 49ers were celebrating his birthday which falls on September 2. However, those charges were not filed according to the Santa Clara County district attorney’s office as they said, “After our thorough review of all the facts, we do not have evidence sufficient to convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that Mr. McDonald committed a crime” against his fiancee.”
