Alex Smith on leaving SF: “I felt that chapter was done for me.”


While some Forever Faithful wished Kansas City Chiefs QB Alex Smith was still their quarterback, Smith himself said his time was done. When he spoke with the beat writers, Smith said:

Smith was then asked how he thinks he would be received by the Forever Faithful and Smith said:

Smith also says he didn’t have any regrets saying, ” We got the organization back to where it needed to be and better than when I came in. So, yeah, I didn’t have any regrets when I left.”

With the 49ers set to face their former teammate it will be interesting to see how they fare as Smith is still close to some of the players.
