In an earlier press conference I was in, San Francisco 49ers GM Trent Baalke quickly shot down any chance of disgruntled RB LaMichael James being traded. When asked if James was being shopped around Baalke quickly said, “No!” James, who is no stranger to tweeting his emotions via social media has made it known that he’s unhappy with his current role with the team. However, Baalke is not concerned with those tweets as he told us that, “he’s a competitor. I’d be disappointed, if he wasn’t disappointed that he wasn’t getting on the field as much as he wanted to. I’d much more concerned about that than his frustration of not playing.”

According to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, James would lose around $50,000 if he failed to take part in 90 percent of the team’s offseason workouts. If you recall last year, CB Tarell Brown lost around $2 million due to a similar clause.
