The San Francisco 49ers have traded 10-year veteran TE Vernon Davis to the Denver Broncos according to ESPN Adam Schefter.

In exchange for Davis’ services, the 49ers will receive multiple draft picks including a sixth and seventh round draft pick in 2016 and an additional sixth round pick in 2017.

Davis who was oft-injured while getting in a heated dispute with teammate LT Joe Staley over QB Colin Kaepernick will now take his talents to Denver as he teams up with QB Peyton Manning.

In 139 regular season games, Davis has recorded 441 catches for 5,640 receiving yards and 55 touchdowns.
