San Francisco 49ers T Anthony Davis did not hold anything back about his displeasure with OC Greg Roman. First he took it to twitter with the following tweet:
Greg Roman to me when I was 21: “You know we can get someone off the street to do what you do.” #LifeComesAtYouFast

Davis then followed that up with a tweet saying “The irony,” which was later deleted.
Today, Davis spoke to the media in regards to the power-run scheme, a game-plan that worked wonders the first three years Harbaugh was in San Francisco but somehow was lost as the 49ers favored the spread-formation. Sacramento Bee’s Matt Barrows and CSN Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco asked Davis about that.
“It worked,” Davis said. “We’re going home after this week. Maybe we tried to trick ‘em this year.”
Davis went on to say, “I don’t think it’s that complicated what we need to do. I’m a player, and I just know what we don’t need.”
And to be honest, he’s right! The 49ers are built to run so I’m sure he’s not the only one in the 49ers locker room with this view point, he just so happens to be the only one saying anything about it.
