The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have signed LB Chase Thomas and TE Kevin Greene. Thomas who originally broke into the league as an undrafted rookie free-agent with the New Orleans Saints while moving onto short stints with the Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, and Green Bay Packers will now get a shot to shine in San Francisco. Thomas was a former Stanford product so you can see why he was brought in.
Greene on the other hand is an undrafted rookie free-agent out of USC. A local kid as Greene attended Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep in San Francisco, California will now have the chance to play for his hometown team. To make room on the roster, the 49ers waived LB Morgan Breslin.
