The San Francisco 49ers continue to lock up their 2014 draft class with the signing of fifth-round pick (No. 170) CB Keith Reaser to a four-year contract. At 5-10 and 189 pounds, Reaser is a team leader and very smart football player. A cornerback that keeps things in front of him while understanding space, makes Reaser an ideal fit in DC Vic Fangio’s 3-4 scheme. However, in all likelihood Reaser will not play in 2014 as he recovers from a torn ACL suffered in a game against UAB.

Reaser who showed off his strength at the NFL scouting combine as he knocked out 22 reps on the bench press, will be looking to solidify his spot in an already crowded defensive backfield, once he redshirts in 2014. With Reaser now signed that brings the total number of nine rookies left unsigned, as the 49ers announced the signings of OLB Aaron Lynch and DE Kaleb Ramsey.
