49ers’ rookie minicamp features Jerry Rice Jr. and Marcus Lattimore

The San Francisco 49ers will open rookie minicamp with a legacy in attendance as Jerry Rice Jr. was invited to take part in the team’s practices. According to Sacbee’s Matt Barrows, second-year RB Marcus Lattimore will also take part in the festivities because he did not earn any pension credit last year, which was spent on the non-football injury list allowing him to be a part of the rookie minicamp. Other notable second year-players who are eligible include WR Chuck Jacobs, OT Carter Bykowski, and DT Mike Purcell
