49ers’ QB Colin Kaepernick to appeal $11,025 fine for unsportstmanlike conduct

San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick told the beat writers just minutes ago that he will in fact appeal the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that cost the team 15 yards. A penalty that resulted as NFL line judge Laird Hayes heard Kaepernick say something to Chicago Bears DE Lamarr Houston, there seems to be conflicting stories on what actually transpired. Kaepernick continues to claim his innocence as he told us in his post-game interview, “I didn’t say anything” while Laird says, “He knows what he said.”


Harbaugh who was asked about the penalty told us:

Kaepernick who apparently used “inappropriate language” will now appeal the fine as he maintains his innocence.
