There is no question that the San Francisco 49ers have an upgraded roster. A list of players that includes a rookie draft class of 12, the 49ers not only got younger but better in 2014. However, whether playing pop warner or in the NFL, every player has a certain number they are tied to and the new members of the red and gold are no different. SS Antoine Bethea (No. 24) he was No. 41 but S Bubba Ventrone holds that one down.
DB Jimmie Ward (No. 25) replaces departed CB Tarell Brown.
RB Carlos Hyde (No. 28) unfortunately college No. 34 is retired by RB Joe Perry.
