On if he was happy with the new rule change to prevent defensive players from being exposed:

“Um yes. Things happen for a reason. So hopefully the league keeps looking into the cut-block.”

On if the rule was in place this year, if he thought it would have translated into a penalty:

“I haven’t really looked at the play so I really couldn’t tell you.”

On if he will be ready by training camp:

“I think I do, it’s just going to take time. It feels good every day, every week, every month. God willing, I try to keep getting better every day.”

On when he had his two surgeries:

“In December, I got my screws taking out in December. And then I got my plates taken out in February.”

On the rehabilitation process:

“It took a lot out of me. Just like Bo, everything happens for a reason. You just got to get back up and keep pushing on.”

On what he actually broke:

“I broke the fibula…and dislocated and tore all the ligaments that hold the foot onto the bone. And that’s what the screws were for so that the ligaments could heal. And then the plate was so that the fibula could heal…And the crazy part, I didn’t feel it.”
