Just a day after San Francisco 49ers OLB Corey Lemonier climbed Mission Peak, it was another second-year player that wanted to do the same as T Luke Marquardt took on the “Mission challenge” with his significant other Jessica Nicole Jones. He then went on to joke around suggesting since he accomplished the task he should now play defensive end, as he tweeted:

Originally an undrafted rookie free-agent from Azusa Pacific, Marquardt is a physical freak as he stands 6-foot-8 and 315 pounds. Not to mention he’s as strong as a bull in the weight room as he knocked out 31 reps on the bench-press, Marquardt will surely be looking to compete for the No. 4 tackle position with T Carter Bykowski. Great job Luke and may the force be with you.
