As the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2014 continues, it was San Francisco 49ers Pro Bowl T Joe Staley who was next up as he came in at No. 75. An improvement over last season’s ranking as he was No. 78, Staley had another Pro Bowl season as he protected QB Colin Kaepernick’s blind side.

Carolina Panthers DE Greg Hardy who was often matched-up against Staley in the NFC Divisional Game had this assessment on Staley as he said, “He has the mobility to stick with me, has the size to counter-act some of my moves.”

Staley who is entering his eighth season with the team, will be looking to make his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl as he continues to be one of the best left tackles in the game.

49ers Top 100 list:

QB Colin Kaepernick (No. 81)
