49ers hire Adam Henry As Team’s Wide Receivers Coach


The San Francisco 49ers may have added the final piece to their team’s coaching staff as they hired former LSU coach Adam Henry to serve as the team’s wide-receivers coach. Ronald Curry who currently is slated to handle those duties as well will likely split duties with Henry.

Henry served as the Oakland Raiders tight-ends coach from 2009-2011 while serving as the team’s quality control coach from 2007-2008 before that.

Running Backs Coach: Tom Rathman 

Tight Ends Coach: Tony Sparano (previously interim head coach of Oakland Raiders)

Wide Receivers Coach: Adam Henry (previously served as LSU WR coach)

Defensive Coordinator: Eric Mangini (previously served as 49ers TE coach)

Defensive Line Coach: Scott Brown (previously 49ers Midwest Regional Scout)

Defensive Line Assistant Coach: Aubrayo Franklin 

Linebackers Coach: Jason Tarver (previously Oakland Raiders DC)

Inside Linebackers Coach: Clancy Pendergast (last served as DC at USC in 2013)

Defensive Backs Coach: Tim Lewis (previously served as Atlanta Falcons DB coach)

Defensive Assistant: Ejiro Evero


Special Teams Coordinator: Thomas McGaughey (previously served as New York Jets special-teams coach)
