49ers’ Frank Gore donates $1,500 to youth football club

For those of you who have never met San Francisco 49ers RB Frank Gore he is a man of giving back to the community. Today, the Davie Tackle Football Club through USA football announced that Gore will donate a $1,500 equipment grant to them.


Gore, who is in the last year of his contract will be looking to have another Pro Bowl season as he tries to finish strong with a Super Bowl victory.

The USA Football All-Fundamentals Team was assembled with guidance by a five-person selection committee:

  • CHARLES DAVIS, USA Football spokesperson, football analyst for NFL Network and FOX Sports
  • HERM EDWARDS, ESPN NFL analyst and former NFL head coach
  • MERRIL HOGE, USA Football board member, ESPN NFL analyst and former NFL running back
  • CARL PETERSON, USA Football chairman, former NFL team executive and assistant coach
  • BILL POLIAN, ESPN NFL Analyst and former NFL general manager
