If you recall, San Francisco 49ers C Daniel Kilgore was arrested in his hometown Kingsport for public intoxication. An article I wrote with the headline, “49ers’ Daniel Kilgore arrested in Kingsport for walking,” it turns out I was right. Just shortly after being engaged to girlfriend Megan Tolly, Kilgore’s streak of good news continues as he was cleared of the public intoxication charge. In addition, Kilgore will get a expungement so there will be no record of such an incident taking place.

A one-sided article that generated controversy as I said:

Kilgore is a very non-confrontational person and to hear news like this from an officer that probably has a power trip, just makes me angry. Was he doing his job? I guess so, but it’s incidents like these that sometime portray officers in a bad light. I’m not saying officer Lane fits the description but from the police report that was made public, it’s hard to argue. So the next time officer Lane is at a bar, let’s see if his eyes are red and dilated as I’m sure he’s super human and has the metabolism to ward off such evil. Don’t get me wrong, drinking should be consumed responsibly but this is a classic case of “Who’s your daddy?,” let’s be honest.

With Kilgore being a modeled citizen and a true professional both on-and-off the football field, the Forever Faithful should be looking forward to the young entrenched starter, as he will be one of the best young centers in the NFL starting in 2014.
