During the season, San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick has hinted that he would love to work with a quarterback guru to fine-tune his skills. Well, now he has a coach as former NFL MVP Kurt Warner will lead that attack.
Whether breaking down plays with board-work or improving his accuracy, Warner will help Kaepernick take that next step as he tries to mold him into a Pro Bowl quarterback. However, Warner isn’t the only person in helping Kaepernick flourish as quarterback coaches Dennis Gile and Mike Giovando will both both be present as well.
“We’re all going to work together,” Gile said. “What we want to do is help Colin all we can. We’re just want Kap to get better. We want to help him become more consistent and efficient. Colin Kaepernick is already good, and he’s already taken his team to the Super Bowl. We just want to help him in anyway we can.”
Kap plans to workout in Arizona at the EXOS facility along with New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr., Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry, 49ers WR Quinton Patton and WR Bruce Ellington, and upcoming rookies in West Virginia’s WR Kevin White (projected first-round pick) and Arizona State’s WR Jaelen Strong (projected second-round pick).
In addition, other former NFL greats will be present from time to time including QB Steve Young.
