San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York has been MIA for the majority of the season but met briefly with a few local beat writers shortly after the 49ers wrapped up practice.
When asked when he would address the state of the team’s franchise, York quickly shot that conversation down saying that there would be a time and a place for such discussions to take place.
He did say that he would address the current status of the team at some point in the near future but wanted head coach Jim Tomsula and company to focus on the season without anymore outside distractions.
York has been under fire since Jim Harbaugh’s departure and the promotion of Jim Tomsula to head coach. To add fuel to the fire, the team has lost five of their last six games while having one of their worst offenses statistically in franchise history up to this point.
