San Francisco 49ers starting right tackle T Anthony Davis recently went under the knife and had surgery to repair a torn labrum suffered in a Week 3 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. According to Davis, he suffered the injury earlier in the year as he tweeted:

A labrum injury which is extremely important to an offensive lineman’s ability to pass protect and run-block, Davis will now be in recovery mode as he prepares for the 2014 season. However, Davis made no excuses despite the injury as he said, “Never made excuses just got the job done. This game has a way of seeing what you’re really made of. One of the reasons I love it. Next season I get to use both arms. lol it’s on.”
