When San Francisco 49ers OLB Aldon Smith was arrested at LAX last month it was another setback for the former All-Pro. A player that is considered a premier pass-rusher in the NFL, it has been his off-field issues that have kept him from reaching his full potential. However, with the 49ers exercising Smith’s fifth-year option, they continue to have faith in their young and talented outside linebacker. And Smith may have realized that enough is enough, as he tweeted for the first time since the LAX incident saying:


A strong message and one that will likely be closely monitored as actions speak louder than words.
