49ers’ Aldon Smith: “I didn’t drink one thing” at Ray McDonald’s house

San Francisco 49ers OLB Aldon Smith admitted today that he was at Ray McDonald’s house on Dec. 15 but didn’t drink. “I didn’t drink one thing,” Smith told local beat writers. When asked further questions about the situation, Smith shot them down saying, “I have nothing else to say. That’s not my issue or my problem,” Smith said.

However, a search warrant affidavit paints a different picture as it says that Smith arrived at McDonald’s house just one day after the alleged assault took place. The woman went on to say that she, McDonald and Smith went to the grocery store at bought cranberry juice and vodka. From there they went back to McDonald’s house and “…started drinking again and remained there until later that night.”

With the 49ers looking into the matter, it will be interesting to see how this plays out as Smith is currently walking on thin ice with the team.
