The Tennessee Titans continue to nab former San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman, as the team signed G/C Joe Looney to their 53-man roster, a source close to the situation told me early this morning.

Looney who had private workouts shortly after his release as the Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Washington, Seattle Seahawks, and Titans all showed considerable interest, it was the Titans who eventually won out, as Looney left on a 4 pm flight yesterday.

The 49ers who opted to release Looney during 53-man roster cuts in favor of C Ian Silberman, will now be joined by friend and teammate G/C Dillon Farrell, who was also signed to the Titans practice squad earlier this season after the team decided to keep G Jorday Devey.

Originally a 2012 fourth-round pick (No. 117), Looney will now get his chance to shine, as he embarks on a new journey in Tennessee.
